Today officially marks a week of living in South Korea. Surprisingly I didn’t have an issue adjusting to the time change, which I count as a blessing. I have completely unpacked and moved into my apartment as well!
So far, living on my own is not as hard or as lonely as I thought it was going to be. Thankfully, as an introvert I appreciate spending time alone. It has certainly been interesting trying to grocery shop and make my own meals. I will get the hang of it eventually.

This past Monday, I began working at an English Academy. While classes have not started yet, we had placement tests yesterday and today. Seeing and speaking with the students made me excited to start teaching and getting to know them better, and I look forward to where this semester, and this year, will take me.
While I wasn’t at work this week, I was exploring new places to eat and get coffee, the two most important things in life. Every new place I go is an amazing experience, and I can say with confidence that everything I have eaten here so far has been delicious!
I wasn’t able to take pictures of everything, but I will be going back for sure! I will do my best to keep updating everyone on what I am doing, but for now, just wish me luck for my first day of teaching on Monday!
Stay safe, and stay happy. Thanks for reading, and I will see you next time.
