Resolution update: in my opinion, February’s went fairly well! Even though I probably could have used social media a little less and read a little more, I believe that I still managed to read more than I was previously, which was the point.
For those who think that they don’t have enough time in the day, it’s all about how you use the time you do have. Because I work between 50 and 60 hours every week, I don’t have much free time, but I do eat breakfast every morning, so instead of scrolling through instagram or twitter, I read while eating instead. While it’s only about 20 minutes every day, it all adds up. And the most important part is that I take the time to sit and relax. It’s more about the 20 minutes of calm I have to myself rather than reading a specific number of pages.
For my March resolution, I have decided to change my diet. While I was in Korea, I bought meat only 3 times throughout the year, mostly because it was more expensive. So when I moved back home, I was accustomed to eating less meat and didn’t desire to eat it as much as I used to.
But in March I will make it official in my decision to eat primarily vegetarian meals. While I won’t berate myself if I eat a soup with chicken broth or if I eat a bite of chicken, I will make a conscious effort to cook vegetarian meals. And when I go out, thankfully almost all of the places I go are vegetarian friendly, so it will be easier.
So the question remains as to why I want to do this. Well, I have always been health conscious, and it’s a good practice to limit our intake on red meat. But other than that, I think eating vegetarian will help me focus more on the balance of my diet. I am also curious to see how this change will affect me overall. Who knows, maybe I will make this a permanent change.
Thanks again for reading. Stay safe and stay happy. ģ½ģ“ģ¤ģ ź³ ė§ģµėÆøė¤. ģģ ķź³ ķė³µķ“ ģ§ė“ģøģ.
