In June, my resolution was to exercise every day, even if it was for just 10 minutes. Out of the whole month, there were only 3 days in which I did not exercise, and 2 were because I was not at home and was away visiting family. All in all, I think this month was successful!
During this resolution, I discovered that I have a passion for dance cardio. I took dance classes in Korea, so I already knew that I enjoyed dancing as a workout, but this month only reconfirmed that.
Toward the beginning of the month one of my friends happened to ask if I use any YouTube videos as guides when I work out, and after some questioning of what type of workouts she wanted, I decided to make a few suggestions of dance cardio videos for her. They looked like a lot of fun, so I suggested that I would be her workout partner, which then turned into me creating a whole dance cardio playlist. And then I was working out to video after video to “test” the playlist, but really it was just because they were so much fun.
Even though it wasn’t a goal for this month, I did end up losing about 4 pounds. It’s probably because of how much dance cardio makes me sweat, but hey, I am not complaining! I definitely suggest dancing as a form of cardio workout. It’s definitely fun, and you don’t really realize how much time is passing.
*Disclaimer* I also did various other workouts during this month, including weight training (with 5 pound weights) and other forms of cardio. If you would like to know what those were, just let me know!
Thanks for reading! Stay safe and stay happy, and I will see you next time!
