September’s Plan

Still going strong with the resolutions for each month! I’ve decided to recycle an earlier one of mine since I fell out of touch with it a bit recently. In February, I decided that I would use social media less and read more. I believe I was successful, but I’ve fallen back into old habits again and haven’t been reading as much.

This update is short, because other than that, there is no other stipulations to the resolution. On Goodreads, an app for book recommendations, they encourage you to participate in their reading challenge each year. You pledge a number of books that you want to read for the year and then keep track.

My goal for this year was 50, and right now I am at 18. Obviously it’s not the end of the world if I don’t end up reading that many, but I would like to actually make an effort to be closer to that goal by the end of the year. I think more of my focus this month will be on using social media less. I recently started using TikTok, and man is it addictive. So I think I will take a break from it for a while and focus on more productive things.

I like to use these posts to hold me accountable for the goals I set for myself, but I am glad if you find inspiration in them as well! Feel free to comment with your own goals, or if you have book recommendations. Stay safe, stay happy, and wear a mask!

  1. Hello,

I wasn’t expecting to get so much value out of such a short article. But I’m blown away by how much worth your article has been for me.

I don’t want to miss out on your future writings, thus I have followed your blog. 🙂

I can resonate with my blog while reading your blog because they are very similar. So as we post about similar topics, we could perhaps work together someday.
